Tortivo Cast Iron Tortilla Press — Pre-Seasoned, Extra-Large 10-Inch, with 100 Parchment Sheets
Built Like the Ones in Real Taquerías
A proper press makes the difference between ragged dough and paper-thin, perfectly round tortillas — in about four seconds each.
Extra-Large 10" Plate
Presses big flour tortillas, pitas and flatbreads in one go. The 8" option is the classic size for corn tortillas.
High-Temp Cast Iron
One-piece gray iron casting — rust-resistant, warp-proof, and pre-seasoned with 100% non-GMO flaxseed oil.
Reinforced Handle
The extra-thick ergonomic handle gives you smooth leverage — one light press, paper-thin result, no fatigue.
100 Parchment Sheets
Non-stick rounds included so dough never sticks and cleanup stays a two-second job. Spare screw in the box too.
10 Inches of Pressing Power
Most presses on the market are 6–8 inches — fine for corn, frustrating for flour. Tortivo's 10-inch plate handles big flour tortillas, roti, patacones and pita without the dough hanging over the edge.
Prefer classic street-style corn tortillas? The 8-inch version gives you the same cast-iron build in the traditional size.
- Flour tortillas up to 10 inches
- Even pressure edge to edge — no thick spots
- Ready out of the box, zero assembly
- Natural stone-look matte finish that wipes clean

What Customers Say
Real kitchens, real tortillas — straight from verified Tortivo buyers.

Bought Both Sizes
I picked up the 8 inch for corn tortillas and came back for the 10 inch for flour tortillas. Side by side you can really feel the quality — heavy, smooth plates that press a perfect circle every time.

Look at That Stack
Flipped through my first batch to show the results — soft, pliable, with perfect golden spots. Straight off the cast iron skillet and into dinner.

Sunday Batch Done in Minutes
Press, flip, repeat — a dozen tortillas for the week done before the comal was even hot. The parchment rounds keep everything from sticking.

Four Seconds a Tortilla
I keep it right next to the stove. Ball, sheet, press — dinner tortillas done faster than I can slice the toppings. My kids now ask for taco night twice a week.

Soft, Even Flour Tortillas
The tortillas come out thin and even, close to the ones I grew up with. Took me two tries to get the dough hydration right, and I only wish the handle were a touch longer.

Crispiest Shells Ever
Pressed corn tortillas for the first time and fried them straight away — they puffed into the crispiest shells I've ever made at home. Nothing like the store-bought ones.
The Parchment Rounds Are the Trick
I've owned cheaper presses and always fought sticking. The 100 included parchment rounds make it a non-issue — press, lift, done, and cleanup is just a wipe.
Heavy in the Best Way
It's a serious piece of cast iron — heavier than I expected, which is exactly why it presses so well. Four stars only because it takes up a fair bit of cupboard space.
Gifted It, Then Bought One for Myself
Bought it for my sister's family and she uses it every weekend for flatbreads. The build quality convinced me to order a second one for our own kitchen.
Even My First Attempt Looked Good
Never made tortillas before in my life. My first ball of dough turned into a near-perfect circle. If it can teach me, it can teach anyone.
Frequently Asked Questions
10 inch or 8 inch — which should I get?
Choose 10" for flour tortillas, large pita and flatbreads — bigger dough needs a bigger plate. Choose 8" if you mostly make corn tortillas (the traditional size) or you're short on storage. Many households keep one of each.
Is it ready to use out of the box?
Yes. It comes pre-seasoned with 100% non-GMO flaxseed oil and fully assembled — no setup, no first burn-in. Wash by hand, dry thoroughly, and press away.
My dough sticks — what am I doing wrong?
Two easy fixes: always use the included parchment rounds between the dough and the plates, and keep the seasoning intact (wipe with a trace of neutral oil after each wash). Dough that's too wet also sticks — add a touch more flour.
Can it go in the dishwasher?
No — like all cast iron, it should be hand-washed with warm water, dried immediately with a paper towel, and stored in a dry place. That's the entire maintenance routine.
