Square corners in three steps
Position
Seat the clamping square over your joint so both boards sit flush against the inside corner. Use the etched scales to line up the joint.
Tighten
Slide the steel bolt through the arm and turn the thumbscrew clockwise until the pieces are held firmly in the desired 90° position.
Fasten
With all corners locked square, drive screws or let the glue cure — the jig holds everything perfectly aligned while you work.

Held my plywood box dead square
